About Fallow and Fox
I am a Scot living in darkest Buckinghamshire with my small herd of Westies, one of which (a.k.a. Occasionally White Hound) is apparently a hero of the beating line.
I love making personal pieces of art for people, whether it is of them or of their dogs, it seems to make people happy. Which is a good thing.
I am also keen to re-purpose the left overs from shoots and therefore reduce the amount of waste that results which is why I have chosen to work with cartridges and feathers. I have some other ideas for backing materials so watch this space…

The name “Fallow and Fox” was born earlier this year when standing on the beating line with Occasionally White Hound, patiently waiting for the guns to get on peg. We were on a wide ride running through the woodland when a small herd of fallow dear emerged from the trees and watched us intently. While they watched us and we watched them a fox appeared half way between the two groups and stood for a moment before they all quietly vanished into the trees. There was then great discussion among the beaters as to who was going to open a pub called “The Fox and Fallow” but I got there first…
